QC Inner Circle Newsletter – June 2011
What’s on your “I’ll get around to doing that – one day list?”
Maybe you want to take up an instrument or write a blog. You might find yourself longing for an overseas adventure or you might want to ask a certain someone out on a date.
Maybe you want to go back to school, lose 10 kilos, or make up with that person that you had a falling out with years ago.
For many of us it is terribly easy to become complacent. We act as if we are going to live forever – that our dreams can wait. Because of this so many opportunities remain dreams until it is too late.
“All men dream but not equally. Those who dream by night in the dusty recesses of their minds wake in the day to find that it was vanity. But the dreamers of the day are dangerous men, for they may act on their dreams with open eyes, to make it possible.”
— T. E. Lawrence, “The Seven Pillars of Wisdom”
Most of us are too busy paying off a mortgage, or a car that the really important things in life like having fun, or appreciating a loved one, or looking after our health fall to the bottom on our list of priorities.
As teenagers we think “I’ll get around to that when I’m in a serious relationship”. In our twenties we say to ourselves that “I’ll get around to it when I have a secure career – or when I get married”. Then it turns into “I’ll get around to it when the kids have started school – when the kids have finished university – when we move into a bigger house – when the kids move out and get married – when I retire – and then all of a sudden – oops, it’s suddenly too late…!”
What’s on your “I’ll get around to doing that – one day” list?
It’s definitely worth thinking about.
Many of us wait until we have a gun to our head to spur us into action. We try to fight off ageing when we reach middle age, we change our diet and start taking food supplements when we get sick or we begin to lavish attention onto a loved one after that person looks elsewhere for attention.
That’s not the time to make a fresh start.
Now in this moment… right now it is the perfect opportunity to make a QUANTUM CHANGE in your life. You can take the first step by enrolling into one of our NLP Scholarship Certification trainings
Perth: Thursday June 23 – Sunday June 26
Brisbane: Thursday June 30 – Sunday July 3
Sydney: Thursday July 7 – Sunday July 10
Carpe Diem! Seize the day… Make your lives extraordinary! Remember, that this life is not a dress rehearsal you must live every moment of life to the fullest.

California Dreaming with QC Seminars
QC Seminars has just completed our NLP Practitioner Certification® Scholarship training in Newport Beach, California. It was very successful 5-day training with over 300 students in attendance.
My Empire State of Mind
Roberta Faddoul shares her travel experiences from NYC:
“New York, New York, I want to be a part of it… I want to wake up in a city that never sleeps.” The lyrics to Frank Sinatra’s signature song truly get to the heart of what it felt like for me to finally visit the Big Apple!
I had a great time in NYC before our 5-day NLP Practitioner training in Newport.
I made sure to tick off all the major tourist spots… a HUGE highlight for me was the David Letterman show where I saw Lady Gaga (I must confess I am now one of her loyal monsters). I am also a HUGE Sex and the City fan so I was excited to see if NYC shopping would live up to the hype – and it really did. I came home with not one, not two but 16 pairs of fabulous new shoes and lots of pressies for my friends and family!
FADDOUL the label
Jessica Faddoul from QC Seminars has started fashion label – FADDOUL. We are so very proud of her and we wish her success and happiness in the future. You can see her amazing new collection via the FADDOUL fan page: www.facebook.com/faddoulthelabel
These shoes are made for walking

Tag questions a Milton model language pattern where a question is placed at the end of a statement, as in you’re getting a lot of value out of this, aren’t you? That was one, wasn’t it? They are designed to displace resistance, as both positive and negative are paced simultaneously thus displacing the attention of the listener.
“Congratulations! Today is your day. You’re off to Great Places! You’re off and away! You have brains in your head. You have feet in your shoes. You can steer yourself any direction you choose. You’re on your own. And you know what you know. And YOU are the one who’ll decide where to go…”
